The Kellanova Fund and Action for Healthy Kids created the Family Meal Toolkit to boost school meal participation andsupport student nutrition. The toolkit helps schools host engaging events that celebrate school meals, involve families, and recognize nutrition staff.
Cargill provided funding for school grants to improve nutrition and education for kids in communities where they operate. Such grants have provided districts with new equipment, like a new cooler and freezer for storing produce used for student meals and a new smoothie bike for making fresh smoothies.
24 Hour Fitness and Action for Healthy Kids launched nationwide Open Gym Days offering free, family-friendly events at clubs in selected cities across the U.S. The partnership also included a virtual webinar and new wellness resources for schools, helping families explore ways to integrate healthy habits into daily life.
