Helping Adults Foster Meaningful Connections with Young People
Extensive research demonstrates that having at least one trusted adult is a significant protective factor for young people, reducing the risk of negative long-term outcomes and supporting the development of healthy coping skills. TrustEd equips educators, youth-serving professionals, and parents and caregivers to build relationships with young people that foster resilience and prevent vaping and other substance use.
Funded by the Colorado Attorney General’s Office Combating Youth Vaping Grant, drawing from research, community partners, and young people, TrustEd is a learning hub of practical, youth-informed strategies and resources for building trusted relationships and understanding the connection between mental health and vaping.
