Impact
This Game On! dairy challenge was another easy-to-implement and low cost building-level project that helped further Maryville District’s exemplary wellness policy without placing burden on classroom teachers. All 250 students in grades K-4 were involved in the milk tasting and voting. All parents, even if they did not hear about the tasting and story book, or attend the family night at the YMCA, were kept informed by an attractive one-page summary of all dairy challenge events.
