Welcome to the Maine Team
Action for Healthy Kids is the nation’s leading nonprofit and largest volunteer network fighting childhood obesity and undernourishment by partnering with schools to improve nutrition and physical activity to help our kids learn to eat right, be active every day, and be ready to learn.
The Maine Action for Healthy Kids convenes statewide nutrition, physical activity and education organizations that serve youth with the goal of raising healthy children. To do this, the Maine Team coordinates and shares state-wide resources and information with parents, teachers, students, community members and partners viahttp://www.HealthyMaineKids.org.
Our goal is to:
- Recruit community members to become change agents for health in their school communities.
