As a runner, you’re focused. You possess endurance and speed. Rain or shine, you are dedicated to running, and will go to great lengths to meet your goals, whether it be 5 a.m. jogs or running through snow and ice. You must be creative in your training and concise in the execution of your races.
Action for Healthy Kids isn’t much different. We know that taking on a mission as ambitious as preventing obesity in kids across the country is a marathon, not a sprint. We, too, must possess the endurance to meet long-term goals, be creative in our fundraising, and always focused on executing our objectives.
