National Football League

Our partnership with the National Football League (NFL) began in 2005, when we developed ReCharge! Energizing After-School, the first nationally distributed after-school program that integrates physical activity and nutrition education through fun, teamwork-based activities. ReCharge! teaches children in 2nd – 6th grades the importance of daily physical activity and healthy eating, while participating in fun football-themed activities.

• More than 10,500 ReCharge! kits have been distributed nationally, reaching an estimated 650,000 children.
• ReCharge! has been incorporated into the following settings, but not limited to: after-school programs, summer/day camps, classrooms for indoor recess, PE classes, in-home daycare settings, and field day events by community organizers.

During the past two NFL seasons, 33 Mini-ReCharge! events have been held by NFL clubs as a part of their youth fitness and community programs. Participating clubs including the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins. The NFL has also featured Mini-ReCharge! at the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, and Nickelodeon’s Day of Play events.
