Kristina loves working with kids, parents and communities to improve overall wellness, nutrition and physical fitness. In addition to her role with Action for Healthy Kids, Kristina is an adjunct professor at two community colleges in the D.C. metro area, where she teaches a variety of wellness, nutrition and physical fitness classes. She has a master’s degree in health promotion management from Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in physical and health education from Penn State University. She also recently passed her certification exam to become a Certified Health Education Specialist and is training to become a yoga instructor.
