![]() To track "Energy Out," Action for Healthy Kids and the National Football League have teamed up with the President's Challenge. The Active Lifestyle Award Program of the President's Challenge was developed by the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports as an easy way to help children and adults make, track and keep a commitment to stay active. Students can track their physical activity electronically by registering at no cost at the President's Challenge site, where they will also be eligible for rewards and awards. The Active Lifestyle Award Program of the President's Challenge asks children to be physically active for 60 minutes each day. Students are asked to track their activity for at least five of the seven days in each week. Students are not required to do all 60 minutes at one time, and the activities do not need to be organized or regimented. Students can choose the activities they like doing — whether it's at home, at school, alone or with friends and family. Tips for Tracking Energy Out (PDF) has additional ideas. See www.presidentschallenge.org for more information about the Active Lifestyle Award of the President's Challenge. |
